Parris and Kersten-Heidi

Our class is reading the Adell Yearling Classic of Heidi. The novel Heidi was written in 1884 by Johanna Spyri. She is from rural Hirzel, Switzerland. Her first book was called A Leaf on Vrony’s Grave. She has written many famous books. In 1937, Heidi was put into a movie with sound. Twelve movies and television shows have been created about Heidi. This book is probably the most famous of all her books.
