TKAM - Assignment 7 John L.


1.Jem thought that Tom Robinson had a decent of getting acquainted and he though Atticus was doing alright.


2. Mayella Ewell thought that Atticus was mocking her but he wasn't. She said that she brought tom into the house to get him a nickel, then he was right behind her and going after her, and she fought back as best as she could. She is kind of convincing, but Atticus wasn't.


3. I think Tom Robinson was convicted because of the matter he was a Negro. Jem thought it was wrong and it should not of happened to him.


4. He felt sorry because she had nobody around to be friends with.


5. Nothing much happens with the Radley's during that chapter other than Jem believes that the Radley's stay inside their house because they want to.


6. Aunt Alexandria doesn't want Walter Cunningham to come over because she believed he was trash. Scout doesn't like it and started sobbing on the way to her bedroom.


7. Jem changed his version of bravery when Atticus got spat by Mr. Ewell on because he did nothing to make the problem worse than it already was.


8. Back then I think the white mans word are tooken over a black mans because they were believed to be dirty and cruel. I think this is not true today. I also believed that in some places are still racially based today.
